Kentucky High School Basketball - Estill County sneaks past Garrard County
December 17, 2024: Lancaster, KY 40444 The Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) basketball edged the host Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), 76-74 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Engineers now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Landrum for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. Estill County will play a Cardinals team coming off a 81-63 non-league win over Broome (Spartanburg, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Garrard County falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Golden lions travel to Wolfe County (Campton, KY) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
