Texas High School Basketball - New Waverly overwhelms Giddings Lonestar Southeast
December 17, 2024: New Waverly, TX 77358 The New Waverly Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Giddings Lonestar Southeast Mustangs to 26 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Madisonville for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. New Waverly will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 85-42 non-league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Giddings Lonestar Southeast falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX) to confront the Archers in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Archers go into the game with a record of 6-4. Founders Classical Academy won 78-38 in their recent non-league game against Valor North Austin (Austin, TX)
