Louisiana High School Basketball - Pickering can't get by Iowa

With the victory, Iowa advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Rams enter the match with a record of 8-1. Acadiana won 72-15 in their recent non-league match against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA)
The Red Devils now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Lake for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Pickering will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 67-47 non-league win over East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-4.
