December 17, 2024: Daleville, VA 24083 The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting James River Knights to 42 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Pulaski County for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. Lord Botetourt will confront a Cougars team coming off a 69-52 league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, James River falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Craig County (New Castle, VA) to confront the Rockets in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 0-6. Craig County lost 73-55 in their recent non-league game against Giles (Pearisburg, VA)
