Louisiana High School Basketball - Jena routs Monterey
December 17, 2024: Jena, LA 71342 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Jena Giants basketball team scored a big 47-13 triumph over the Monterey Wolves.
The Giants (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Lena, LA). The Gators go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Northwood was trounced by Montgomery (Montgomery, LA), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Forest Bulldogs (Forest, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Monterey will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 62-29 non-league loss to Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA).
