Michigan High School Basketball - Lakeview holds off Ottawa Hills
December 17, 2024: Battle Creek, MI 49015 The Lakeview Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Ottawa Hills Bengals to 59 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Kalamazoo Central for a Southwestern Michigan - East game on Thursday, December 19. Lakeview will confront a Maroon Giants team coming off a 60-49 non-league win over Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Maroon Giants record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Ottawa Hills falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bengals host Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to confront the Knights in a River Cities game on Thursday, December 19. The Knights go into the game with a record of 2-3. Kenowa Hills won 53-47 in their recent non-league game against Hamilton (Hamilton, MI)
