Kansas High School Basketball - Lyons overwhelms Sedgwick

December 17, 2024: Sedgwick, KS 67135

The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Sedgwick Cardinals to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Lyons will confront a Knights team coming off a 0-0 non-league Berean Academy (Elbing, KS). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Sedgwick falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Moundridge (Moundridge, KS) to confront the Wildcats in a Heart of America game on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-0. Moundridge won 66-38 in their recent non-league game against Little River (Little River, KS)
