Wisconsin High School Basketball - Merrill holds off Shawano Community
December 17, 2024: Merrill, WI 54452 The Merrill Bluejays basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Shawano Community Hawks to 53 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bluejays now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Medford for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Merrill will confront a Raiders team coming off a 66-52 non-league loss to Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Shawano Community falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Green Bay West (Green Bay, WI) to confront the Wildcats in a Bay game on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-1. Green Bay West won 72-69 in their recent league game against New London (New London, WI)
