Ohio High School Basketball - Whitmer holds off Perrysburg
December 17, 2024: Toledo, OH 43613 The Whitmer Panthers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Perrysburg Yellow Jackets to 59 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Findlay for a Northern Lakes game on Friday, December 20. Whitmer will confront a Trojans team coming off a 73-35 league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Perrysburg falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Northview (Sylvania, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a Northern Lakes game on Friday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 3-2. Northview won 65-46 in their recent non-league game against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH)
