Ohio High School Basketball - River Valley knocks off Ridgemont

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) and the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), observed River Valley's basketball team overcome Ridgemont by a margin of 79-63.

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby (Shelby, OH). The Whippets come into the Mid-Ohio - Red challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Shelby defeated Highland (Marengo, OH), 64-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Gophers battle the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) in a Northwest Central bout, on Friday, December 20. Ridgemont will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 65-35 non-league win over Vanlue (Vanlue, OH).
