In Tuesday's non-league test, the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans (Highlands Ranch, CO) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Sheridan Rams (Denver, CO), by a score of 50-36.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Ascent Classical Academy Guardians (Lone Tree, CO) in a 3A/2A Foothills test, on Wednesday, January 8. STEM School Highlands Ranch will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Guardians come into the test with a 1-5 record after their 66-40 non-league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ).

The Rams (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Aurora West College Prep Academy (Aurora, CO). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Aurora West College Prep Academy was knocked off by Stargate School (Thornton, CO), 60-25, in a non-league test.
