Kansas High School Basketball - Smith Center fells Washington County
December 17, 2024: Smith Center, KS 66967 The Smith Center Redmen basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Washington County Tigers to 53 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Redmen now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Oakley for a Mid-Continent game on Friday, December 20. Smith Center will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Rawlins County (Atwood, KS). The Plainsmen record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Washington County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hanover (Hanover, KS) to confront the Wildcats in a Twin Valley game on Friday, December 20.
