California High School Basketball - Village Christian holds off Taft

The Village Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 95 points and limited the visiting Taft Toreadors to 89 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Bonaventure for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21.

With the loss, Taft falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Toreadors travel to Serra (Gardena, CA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 5-2. Serra won 50-44 in their recent non-league game against Lynwood (Lynwood, CA)
