Texas High School Basketball - Abilene holds off Stephenville
December 17, 2024: Abilene, TX 79603 The Abilene Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Midland Legacy for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Abilene will confront a Rebels team coming off a 75-28 non-league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Stephenville falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets/honeybees travel to Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to confront the Troopers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Troopers go into the game with a record of 14-3.
