The Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) basketball were winner over the visiting Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA), 60-47 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Fightin' Planets now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Agnes Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Mars will play a Tigers team coming off a 57-49 non-league win over Bay Area Christian (League City, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Avonworth falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Antelopes travel to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Deer Lakes won 59-13 in their recent non-league bout against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA)
