Pennsylvania High School Basketball - New Castle overwhelms Bethlehem Center
December 17, 2024: New Castle, PA 16101 The New Castle Hurricanes basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Bethlehem Center Bulldogs to 15 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Ambridge for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. New Castle will confront a Bridgers team coming off a 70-8 league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bridgers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Bethlehem Center falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA) to confront the Buccaneers in a WPIAL 2A 4 game on Thursday, December 19. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 5-0. Chartiers-Houston won 38-33 in their recent non-league game against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA)
