Oklahoma High School Basketball - Hilldale knocks off Verdigris
December 17, 2024: Muskogee, OK 74403 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) and the visiting Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK), observed Hilldale's basketball team overcome Verdigris by a score of 44-27.
The Hornets (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Verdigris Valley challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Wagoner dropped by Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK), 48-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Verdigris will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 69-27 league loss to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK).
