December 17, 2024: Sylvan Grove, KS 67481 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) and the visiting Lincoln Leopards (Lincoln, KS), observed Sylvan-Lucas's basketball team overwhelm Lincoln by a score of 61-18.
The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pike Valley (Scandia, KS). The Panthers come into the Northern Plains challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Pike Valley was routed by Wakefield (Wakefield, KS), 44-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Leopards battle the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays (Beloit, KS) in a Northern Plains challenge, on Friday, December 20. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blujays come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 80-47 non-league loss to Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS).
