Michigan High School Basketball - Lutheran North thwarts Marine City
December 17, 2024: Marine City, MI 48039 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) and the host Marine City Mariners (Marine City, MI), observed Lutheran North's basketball team knock off Marine City by a score of 46-29.
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs come into the Catholic C-D D challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last bout, Cabrini gained a win over Roeper (Birmingham, MI), 52-18, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Marine City falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mariners host Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Lamphere won 37-33 in their recent non-league bout against Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI)
