South Dakota High School Basketball - Lyman triumphant over Sully Buttes
December 17, 2024: Presho, SD 57568 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) and the visiting Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD), observed Lyman's basketball team overwhelm Sully Buttes by a score of 59-16.
The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bennett County (Martin, SD). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Bennett County trounced Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD), 53-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) in a B Region 6 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Sully Buttes will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 60-56 non-league loss to Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD).
