December 17, 2024: Roswell, NM 88201 Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM), 32-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Goddard upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Rockets host Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Demons in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Demons enter the match with a record of 3-2. Santa Fe won 46-15 in their recent non-league match against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM)
The Cavemen/Cavegirls now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Carlsbad will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
