California High School Basketball - La Mirada sneaks past Rancho Alamitos
December 17, 2024: La Mirada, CA 90638 The La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) basketball edged the visiting Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA), 41-39 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Matadores now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Gahr for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. La Mirada will play a Gladiators team coming off a 47-40 non-league win over Heritage (Menifee, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Rancho Alamitos falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vaqueros travel to Cypress (Cypress, CA) to play the Centurions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 18. The Centurions go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Cypress won 58-10 in their recent non-league bout against University (Irvine, CA)
