California High School Soccer - Santa Ynez toppled by Morro Bay
December 17, 2024: Morro Bay, CA 93442 Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Morro Bay moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a test on Tuesday, January 14. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Pirates now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arroyo Grande for a non-league test on Friday, December 20. Santa Ynez will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
