Mississippi High School Soccer - West Marion toppled by Perry Central
December 17, 2024: New Augusta, MS 39462 Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Perry Central advances its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, December 19. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 9-4. Loyd Star won 5-0 in their recent league test against Wesson (Wesson, MS)
The Trojans now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Forrest for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. West Marion will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Laurel (Laurel, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
