Coolidge Bears (Coolidge, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), 44-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Coolidge upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 4-1. Alchesay won 37-23 in their recent non-league match against Ganado (Ganado, AZ)

The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Empire for a match on Tuesday, February 4.
