California High School Basketball - Village Christian overwhelms Taft
December 17, 2024: Sun Valley, CA 91352 The Village Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Taft Toreadors to 38 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Village Christian will confront a Lancers team coming off a 57-56 non-league loss to La Canada (La Canada, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Taft falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Toreadors travel to Serra (Gardena, CA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 1-0. Serra won 67-17 in their recent non-league game against St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA)
