Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Jefferson RISE Charter moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The host Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to clash with the Owls in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. The Owls come into the test with a record of 5-3.

The Hurricanes now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverdale for a Division II District 7 test on Wednesday, December 18. L.W. Higgins will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-2.
