December 17, 2025: Dixon, IL 61021 Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL), 67-43 in a league match.
With the victory, Dixon advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Dukes & Duchesses host Sycamore (Sycamore, IL) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Friday, December 19. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 7-1. Sycamore won 71-58 in their recent non-league contest against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
In their next game, the Royal Lions battle the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 20. Rockford Christian will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Hubs come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 92-62 league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL).
