The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Mullins Auctioneers (Mullins, SC) and the host Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC), saw Mullins's basketball team tip Marlboro County by a margin of 57-53.

The Auctioneers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake City (Lake City, SC). The Panthers go into the AA Region 7 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Lake City nipped Kingstree (Kingstree, SC), 43-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 20. Marlboro County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 75-45 league loss to York Prep (Rock Hill, SC).
