The Prairie View Thunderhawks bounced the visiting Niwot Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 71-45 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Thunderhawks clash with the Westminster Wolves (Westminster, CO) in a 6A/5A Rocky Mountain outing, on Tuesday, January 6. Prairie View will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 62-48 non-league loss to Denver West (Denver, CO).

With the loss, Niwot falls to 4-4 on the season. The Cougars host Greeley West (Greeley, CO) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, December 19. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-3. Greeley West lost 61-47 in their recent non-league test against Adams City (Commerce City, CO)
