Louisiana High School Basketball - Opelousas routs Port Barre
December 17, 2025: Port Barre, LA 70577 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Opelousas Tigers basketball team scored a big 83-18 triumph over the Port Barre Red Devils.
The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, East St. John was trounced by St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 74-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 18. Port Barre will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 49-45 non-league loss to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA).
