Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge overwhelms Loudoun County
December 17, 2025: Aldie, VA 20105 The Lightridge Bolts basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Loudoun County Captains to 34 in the Bolts non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bolts now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host South Lakes for a non-league game on Friday, December 19. Lightridge will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 38-27 non-league win over Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Loudoun County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Captains travel to Freedom (South Riding, VA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-0.
