Virginia High School Basketball - Lightridge succumbs to Loudoun County

December 17, 2025: Leesburg, VA 20175

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), by a score of 61-50.

Next, the Captains clash with the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 18. Loudoun County will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Seahawks come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 32-29 non-league win over McLean (McLean, VA).

The Bolts (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA). The Sharks come into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Charles J. Colgan went down by Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA), 42-26, in a league test.
