Vermont High School Ice Hockey - Champlain Valley Union holds off South Burlington
December 17, 2025: Hinesburg, VT 05461 The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) ice hockey held off the visiting South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT), 4-3 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Redhawks now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Johnsbury Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 20. Champlain Valley Union will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-1.
The Wolves (0-2) will now prepare for their test against North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Falcons come into the VPA test with a 0-0 record. In their last test, North Country Union Woodstock (Woodstock, VT), 2-2, in a non-league outing.
