Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Franklin fells Aliquippa

Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA), 57-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Knights host Greenville (Greenville, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a District 10 Region 4 bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Greenville won 37-35 in their recent league bout against Sharon (Sharon, PA)

Next up, the Quips clash with the Beaver Falls Tigers (Beaver Falls, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Aliquippa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester, PA).
