December 18, 2021: Montpelier, ID 83254 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) and the host Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID), saw Shelley's basketball squad overcome Bear Lake by a tally of 47-39.
With the victory, Shelley improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Russets host Pocatello (Pocatello, ID) to play the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Pocatello lost 78-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, ID)
Next up, the Bears play the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 22. Bear Lake will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Diggers come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 60-39 non-league win over Star Valley (Afton, WY).
