West Virginia High School Basketball - Morgantown tops Bishop Walsh
December 18, 2021: Morgantown, WV 26501 Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), 75-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Morgantown upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Mohigans travel to University (Morgantown, WV) to play the Hawks in a Two Rivers bout on Wednesday, December 22. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 1-1. University lost 63-61 in their recent non-league bout against Capital (Charleston, WV)
Next up, the Spartans play the Calvary Christian Academy (Cresaptown, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 20. Bishop Walsh will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 56-33 league loss to Heritage Academy (Hagerstown, MD).
