Georgia High School Basketball - Union County holds off Chestatee
December 18, 2021: Gainesville, GA 30505 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the host Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), saw Union County's basketball squad hold off Chestatee by a tally of 57-51.
With the victory, Union County improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host North Hall (Gainesville, GA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 21. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. North Hall won 81-34 in their recent league challenge against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)
Next up, the War Eagles confront the Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 28. Chestatee will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
