Michigan High School Basketball - Detroit Community ripped by River Rouge
December 18, 2021: River Rouge, MI 48218 The River Rouge Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Detroit Community Hurricanes to 44 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robichaud for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 4. River Rouge will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 87-45 league win over Redford Union (Redford, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Hurricanes (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn, MI). The Navigators enter the Charter contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Henry Ford Academy triumphed over American International Academy (Inkster, MI), 86-74, in a non-league contest.
