Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN), 55-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dyer County upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Choctaws host Ripley (Ripley, TN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
