December 18, 2021: Lakeville, MN 55044 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) and the visiting St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), saw Lakeville South's basketball squad hold off St. Michael-Albertville by a count of 72-71.
With the victory, Lakeville South upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN) to play the Lakers in a AAAA Section 2 challenge on Thursday, January 6. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Knights play the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. St. Michael-Albertville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Magic come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 91-54 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN).
