North Carolina High School Basketball - New Hanover thwarts Westover

December 18, 2021: Fayetteville, NC 28303

The New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) basketball knocked off the host Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 57-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle go into the 3A/4A Conference 20 test with a 1-5 record.

The Wolverines now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Triton for a 3A/4A Conference 23 test on Tuesday, January 4.
