Ohio High School Basketball - Wilmington nips Northwest
December 18, 2021: Wilmington, OH 45177 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH) and the visiting Northwest Knights (Cincinnati, OH), saw Wilmington's basketball squad hold off Northwest by a count of 57-52.
With the victory, Wilmington upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Hurricane host Little Miami (Morrow, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.
Next up, the Knights play the Ross Rams (Hamilton, OH) in a Southwest Ohio challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 58-40 non-league win over Eaton (Eaton, OH).
