Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO), 50-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pagosa Springs upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Sanford (Sanford, CO) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Sanford lost 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Colorado Springs Christian (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO) in a 3A Western Slope bout, on Saturday, January 15. Roaring Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
