Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the visiting Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), saw Ripley's basketball squad overcome Riverside by a tally of 69-55.

With the victory, Ripley improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Calvary Baptist Academy (Hurricane, WV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Calvary Baptist Academy won 79-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV)

Next up, the Warriors confront the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 21. Riverside will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bees come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 76-67 league win over Grafton (Grafton, WV).
