Illinois High School Basketball - Galesburg crushes Burlington
December 18, 2021: Galesburg, IL 61401 Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA), 71-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Galesburg upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Silver Streaks travel to Bloomington (Bloomington, IL) to play the Purple Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 18. The Purple Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Bloomington won 47-39 in their recent league bout against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL)
Next up, the Grayhounds play the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
