Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN), 60-15 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Robbinsville upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Murphy (Murphy, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Conference 43 bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Murphy won 67-37 in their recent league bout against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Copper Basin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
