Alabama High School Basketball - Section overwhelms Crossville
December 18, 2021: Section, AL 35771 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Section Lions (Section, AL) and the visiting Crossville Lions (Crossville, AL), saw Section's basketball squad wallop Crossville by a count of 53-20.
With the victory, Section upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Pisgah (Pisgah, AL) to play the Eagles in a 2A Area 15 challenge on Monday, December 20. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Pisgah won 76-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Sylvania (Sylvania, AL)
Next up, the Lions play the Brindlee Mountain Lions (Guntersville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 20. Crossville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 48-24 league loss to Pennington (Blountsville, AL).
