In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC), by a margin of 57-11.

The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Washington County was trounced by Southside (Chocowinity, NC), 63-31, in a non-league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson Prep for a 1A Conference 9 outing on Tuesday, December 21.
