The Millard Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Union Cougars to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 21.

The Cougars (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Uintah triumphed over Moffat County (Craig, CO), 37-36, in a non-league contest.
